Their experience using bevopr

Written by Louis Robert | Apr 21, 2022 12:55:01 PM

Introduction

When running any business but mostly a platform, it is primordial to know how your users feel about your service and listen to what they have to say.

The goal of bevopr has always been to connect developers and recruiters in the easiest and most efficient way possible

In this post you'll discover the experience of some of our users from both parties :

  • developers, or as we like to call them, our talents
  • recruiters, our clients

Talents

Aliye K.

Did you know the kind of job you were looking for?

I knew which kind of job I was looking for. And I knew my skills. I also had an idea of which kind of company I would like to work for.
For example, I didn't want to work for a consultancy company.
I was also looking for a job close to home since I wanted to have good work-life balance

How did you feel about the platform?

It worked well. I ended up working for the first company I matched with.
What was particularly useful is the fact I could make my search very specific.
Thanks to that, I instantly had a very limited list of choices!

How long did it take you to find a job through bevopr?

I found a job very rapidly! It only took 2 weeks including the 3 interviews.

Where else were you looking for a job? And what were the key differences?

I am contacted very often by recruiters and maybe half of the job offers don't even match with my profile.
With bevopr I can take decisions without any recruiter wasting my time.

Amin I.

How did you get to know bevopr?

From LinkedIn: I've read the description of bevopr and I thought it was an amazing solution specifically for developers.

How long did it take you to find a job through bevopr?

First ideal job took only a matter of hours after discovering Bevopr.
But after 'liking' all available opportunities, I get the message 'That's all for now!'.
And it took maybe a month before new opportunities started showing up. At that moment I've found my second ideal job.

Where else were you looking for a job? And what were the key differences?

I've used LinkedIn, VDAB and other sites mostly tailored towards remote working.

The key difference between bevopr and the ones listed above is that, when using bevopr, you can't (as far as I've experienced) actively look for jobs.
It's more like the platform itself is pushing those to you depending on your skills. In other words, I wait for bevopr to inform me about new opportunities, while for others I have to initiate and actively look up by myself.

Another difference is that bevopr is tailored for developers and that is a big plus for me. You get informed with opportunities based on the skills you've entered on your profile. Another plus for me.

The fact that you have the ability to read more information about the opportunities : seeing the salary range working there is a BIG PLUS (there are so many apps like LinkedIn, VDAB, etc. where this is not included) and maps.

Was anonymity important to you?

It is a breeze not being harassed by recruiters when using bevopr.

Would you use bevopr again when looking for a job?

Yes I would! I even bookmarked bevopr to my browser the very moment I discovered it and started using it.

Did you know exactly the profile you were looking for?

I'm looking for different types of IT profiles ; software developers, devops, data scientists...Due to our complex activities and products, the technological pile is quite large.

Those profiles aren't easy to find.

So they receive a lot of proposals on LinkedIn. It's really annoying for them.

Bevopr offers them the possibility to be visible only when they are interested in being contacted.

Did you find these talents you were looking for with bevopr?

I already found 2 new colleagues within 3 months.

A software developer and an integration engineer.

What features stand out in your opinion?

I appreciate the principle. Both the company and the potential candidate must want to get in contact
